My group used the 4 natural elements. Air, water, earth, and I am fire and sun. This is a coil pot so you can see all the elements and it stands out. I used a lot of different colors to pop out some elements. I wanted two flames and added red in the crevices to stand out against the yellow and pop.  I made the fire first by starting with a spiral triangle overlapping it with more coils and making the tip of it sharp. I made the sun with a big spiral coil and glazed it a bright yellow so you notice it first against the spiral triangles around it. The rim and handle are supposed to be a rope something that can easily get caught on fire.  I am very happy that I was able to do this I am proud and I did my best. I hope that next time I can keep the colors from bleeding on to each other.

My two hollow pinch pots are these monsters I made. Both the head and body are hollow. It was very difficult to make the body since I have never made it before but it was a learning experience I liked. It was fun choosing the colors that would best bring out the texture of the project. I really like the eyes and how the lines I made into it brought out the blue color. As well as the tongue I put a lot of detail into it. I do wish I had put more layers of the blue since it was a little splotchy.  I could have made the carves deeper so it would be easier to do it and I could do them first instead of last. I do overall, and I am very happy with it it kind of reminds me of my sister and how silly we can be and that makes me happy!
